Terms of Service
Last updated: September 25, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Bumpster Pull (the “Platform”), including bumpsterpull.com and related tools. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. What Bumpster Pull is
Bumpster Pull is a technology marketplace that connects shippers, brokers, dealerships, manufacturers and private owners with independent carriers and drivers for bumper-pull and tow-away transportation only. Gooseneck, fifth-wheel and semi-trailer freight is not supported.
Bumpster Pull is not a motor carrier, freight broker or insurer and does not take possession of any vehicle or cargo. Carriers perform transportation as independent businesses under their own operating authority.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
- Information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
- Carriers are responsible for the drivers they add and dispatch.
3. Carrier verification
Carriers may be asked for USDOT/MC numbers, insurance certificates, identity checks, tax information, vehicle and hitch details and driver licenses. You authorize us to check this information against federal records (such as FMCSA) and other providers, both at onboarding and on an ongoing basis.
Verification badges and trust scores reflect records available to us at the time of checking. They are informational and are not a guarantee of safety, legal compliance, insurance coverage or performance. Every party remains responsible for its own due diligence and legal obligations. We may place accounts on hold or remove them when records are missing, expired, revoked or inconsistent.
4. Loads, booking and dispatch
- Shippers and brokers must describe loads accurately, including trailer type, size, weight and pickup/delivery details.
- Carriers may only accept loads their equipment, authority and insurance can legally and safely handle.
- When a driver accepts a dispatch, they accept the rate confirmation attached to it.
- Drivers must follow all traffic, hours-of-service and safety laws. Do not use the app, voice assistant or navigation while driving unless it is safe and legal to do so.
5. Payments, escrow and fees
Payments are processed by our payment partner, Stripe. When a load is booked, the shipper funds 100% of the agreed rate, which is held until delivery is confirmed. After proof of delivery is approved, 95% is released to the carrier and Bumpster Pull keeps a 5% platform fee. Carrier onboarding and verification are free.
Payouts go to the bank account the carrier connects through Stripe and follow the payout schedule shown in the app. Payment processing is also subject to Stripe’s terms. We never store full card or bank numbers on our servers.
6. Proof of delivery and electronic signatures
Drivers may be required to capture condition photos at pickup and delivery and a receiver’s signature on screen. You agree that electronic signatures, time stamps and photos captured in the Platform are valid records and signatures under the U.S. E-SIGN Act and applicable state law, and may be used to confirm delivery, release payment and resolve disputes.
7. Disputes
If a shipper reports damage, non-delivery or a problem with the POD, payment for that load may be held while we review the photos, signatures and records from both sides. Our review decides how held funds are released within the Platform; it does not limit any rights you have under the law or your own agreements, including cargo claims against a carrier’s insurance.
8. Prohibited use
- Posting false loads, double-brokering or impersonating another company or authority.
- Arranging payment outside the Platform for loads found on the Platform to avoid fees.
- Uploading forged documents or someone else’s personal information.
- Scraping, overloading or attempting to break into the Platform.
9. Liability
The Platform is provided “as is.” Weather, routes, safe-stop suggestions, load recommendations and assistant answers are informational and may be incomplete or out of date. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bumpster Pull is not liable for loss of or damage to cargo, vehicles, injuries, delays or lost profits arising from transportation arranged through the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You agree to indemnify Bumpster Pull against claims arising from your loads, your transportation services, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Ending your account and changes
You may close your account from the Account page once no loads or funds are outstanding. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continued use means you accept them.
